Happy NYE !

As usual, we stayed in on New Years.  Jonathan cooked prime rib, I made some sides, and my mom came over to eat with us.  The food was delicious!

After eating, the boys decided to do a little Just Dance on the Wii.  They crack me up!  I love watching their dance moves.  Austin is very serious, which causes an issue when he gets beat by his brothers, or by his daddy.  Hudson and Camden aren't serious at all, but they seem to do well with their scores.  And Jonathan is just as competitive as Austin.  Very entertaining!

Once the dancing was over, my mom left, and Jonathan and I put the boys to bed.  We watched the countdown on TV, and made it until 11.  Is it bad when you can't even make it until midnight?  Oh well, we felt good this morning.  I woke up and celebrated the 1st day of the New Year with eggs benedict.  Jonathan makes the best eggs benedict!  Seriously, I could eat it every morning.  YUM!

I wonder what God has in store for me this year.  One thing I do know... I can't wait to meet my baby girl!  11 weeks to go!  Happy New Years!!

Snow Day 2012

Well, we didn't get much snow, but enough for the boys.  They were thrilled to get out and play in it.  And Jonathan came home from work for a while to play with them.  The weather was a bit too chilly for this momma to go out and play. :)

A Very, Merry Christmas

Christmas, one of my favorite holidays, was great this year.  There's nothing better than slowing down, spending time with family, and celebrating the birth of Jesus.  Pure joy!

The boys and I started our celebrating by making some cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve day.  We baked some sugar cookies, and they decorated them beautifully.

Then, we had to quickly get cleaned up and ready for the Christmas Eve service at church.  We weren't exactly sure how Camden was going to do sitting through the service, but, luckily, it was a family service.  Lots of kiddos in the place!  And it was a good thing because Camden was wild.  He couldn't sit still for longer than about 15 seconds.  However, I'm still glad we went.  The service was great!

Once we got back home, the boys put on their pajamas, and we settled down to read.  We set the cookies out for Santa, and off to bed the boys went - or so we thought.  Because of all the excitement, they had a hard time falling right to sleep.

Christmas morning, we woke up around 7:00 to see what Santa brought in the night.  The boys were thrilled!!  I love the excitement that Christmas morning brings to my sons' faces.  Adorable!  We opened presents, laughed, played with toys, ate some breakfast, and enjoyed the morning.  I was soaking it up!

After a while, Jonathan started frying his turkey, while the boys and I got ready for the day.  Once we were all ready and the turkey was all done, we packed up our car to head to my mom's house to celebrate with my family.  After enjoying a delicious meal done all by my mom, we started with the gifts.  It was so much fun seeing the kids so excited and happy over their presents.  And the adults got some great gifts, too!

As the fun-filled day came to an end, I had some time to rest on the couch with my hubby.  As we sat there watching the boys play with new toys, I was reminded, once again, of how extremely blessed I am.  I love my life!  Thank you God for my precious blessings!

The Baird's House

For the past couple of years, my good friends, Cari and George, have a little holiday party at their home for our "old" grace group.  We have such a great time visiting with our friends, and catching up with everyone.

This year, 3 of us are pregnant and due in March.  How crazy is that?  And our sweet friends decided to surprise us with some baby gifts.  I loved all of my gifts, and can't wait for them to meet Stella Mae!

Christmas in Dyersburg

Since Christmas is falling on Tuesday this year, we decided to go to Dyersburg yesterday to celebrate with Jonathan's family.  All of Jonathan's family were there, and we had a great day spending time with them.  The boys were excited for some early Christmas presents, and loved playing with their new toys.
