Fun on the Fourth

We had a very busy, yet exciting, 4th of July.  Our morning started with the neighborhood parade.  The boys decorated their bikes, put on their red, white, and blue, and we headed down the street to meet up with everyone.  When we got to the meeting spot, Austin decided to jump the curb, and busted his front tire. :(  Poor baby was so sad!  I felt so sorry for him because he was so excited about riding his bike in the parade.  After some love and comfort from his momma, Austin decided he would walk/run in the parade with me and Jonathan.  Hudson and Camden rode their bikes.

After the parade, the boys played in water from the fire truck hose, and enjoyed popsicles and ice cream from the ice cream truck.  Then, we went to a friend's house for some fun on a waterslide.  The boys had a blast!!  But we couldn't stay for too long because more fun was coming.

Our nephew, James, turned the big ONE, today.  So we drove to Oxford, MS to celebrate with him.  His party was at Pirate Adventures, and the boys loved it.  They got to play games, jump, and ride around on little scooter cars.  After the party, we went to Jonathan's sister's house for James to open his gifts.  I hope baby James had a great first birthday!

Hope y'all had a Happy 4th of July!!
We did!!
